Plasma in KDE 4.1 has the best widget implementation around imho. It looks to get even better in KDE 4.2 with native Google Gadgets support among the many enhancements.

You're not the first to tell me that. I may venture back into KDE-land one day, but for now it's just too freaking ugly for me.

I keep trying KDE to see if I like it again,but I find that its just too busy. Now that the Gnome project has a lot of tools that KDE had before, I am still leaning away from it and towards Gnome for now. And, of course, with KDE's "rebirth", most of what I used to like about it is not working the way I like it. Maybe I'll just go back to just using Windowmaker and be done with it. :D
